My story

Nina - Chihuahua/Min Pin Mix - Female - 10 Months - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

“Good things come in small packages”. That is the way that we best describe Nina, she is an 8 lb little bundle of joy and loves people and is dog and cat-friendly. She loves to play with the other dogs in the house and loves playing with her toys and when she gets tired she comes and rest in your lap and gives you kisses (a lot of them).  House training is a work in progress, she is doing well though. Due to her small size, she is best matched with similarly sized, playful dogs and older kids.

Nina is looking for a home with another small dog to play with, and a family to give her the attention she needs and craves.

***** Please note that not every dog comes to every adoption day, so if you would like to meet a specific dog on adoption day, please contact us so we can make arrangements accordingly.

Why adoption is a great option

Nina, a Kingwood Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
