Available for adoption 09/10 - Young terrier/shepherd mix. Only about 6 months old. She has received her first in the series of distemper/parvo vaccines. She weighs 20 to 25 pounds and will probably mature to be about 35 pounds. She is a very light tan with a black muzzle. Her coat is short and smooth. Her ears are currently tipped but will probably stand up as she matures. Her eyes are a dark chocolate brown. She is very friendly and playful. Already walks well on leash. Volunteers have named her Sadie. She would be a great addition for an active family. *****URGENT*****This shelter is NOT a no-kill facility. If you are interested, please act quickly. We must have commitment before close of business on the first Wednesday after the availability date. ******If you are interested in this Pet, please call Polk County Animal Control at 770-749-8908 or email jcrawford@polkga.org ****Adoption fee for dogs is only $40. Dogs 2 years of age and under will be administered a Distemper/Parvo combo vaccine. This facility only accepts Checks or Money Orders. They do NOT accept Cash or Credit/Debit cards. You will sign a contract stating you will get your new pet spayed/neutered and a rabies vaccine by a specified date. **** Upon adoption, adopters are required to fill out a rabies and sterilization contract.****
