Sherlock and Watson are incredibly sweet and well-socialized brother rats looking for a loving guardian.

The boys were born in April of 2018, so they are still young, fun and playful. Rats typically live two to three years.

Sherlock and Watson are both very friendly and outgoing and will make wonderful family companions. They will sit on my shoulder or neck as I walk around the house. They have been accustomed to annoying cats sticking their noses in their cages.

The cage the boys came in is okay to start with, but I’d recommend upgrading to something more spacious and fun for the rats to play in … Check out www.martinscages.com R-680 Rat Lodge or R-695 Rat Skyscraper are a decent size. Powder-coated cages last longer than galvanized cages and are gentler on rat paws. You should cover the wire floors with a solid material such as vinyl or ceramic tiles.
