Sona is one of the best dogs you will ever meet! She loves everyone she meets and is so so sweet! Sona is also great with dogs of all sizes and gentle with young children. Although Sona has a rough life, she never gave and continue to love every human she meets. Poor girl lost partial of her hind leg. However, she walks and runs like any normal dogs. Sona is even great with cats. Sona has a great temperament! She is doing very well and ready for her own forever home. Sona started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining. Sona rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. She is a lovely girl and will make a wonderful family dog.

Sona’s Rescue Story

Poor Sona and her buddy, Zola, were two of hundreds of dogs in a no kill shelter. They were rescued from horrible conditions and well taken care in the shelter. However, there are so many dogs in the shelter and adoptions are slow. Both of them have been waiting for years and all the volunteers have been praying that they will find homes to love them soon. The volunteers reached out to an international organization that has found a thousand of dogs homes around the world. The founder of the rescue has a home full of over a hundred dogs waiting for homes. She didn’t have the heart to turn her back on them. Once they find homes, the rescue can continue to help more of the dogs from the shelter.

They were rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup. Luckily, they are all healthy. Sona and Zola are enjoying the company of all her rescued dogs. They started leash training and are socialized with big and small dogs.

Sona has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Sona is ready for her own loving home. Please give Sona a loving home that she had waited so long.
