My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE BIO. 9/28/18. Sophie had a much needed dental cleaning today. Great news, the vet has given Sophie a clean bill of health!

INIITIAL BIO. 08/31/18: Sophie was tearfully surrendered by her previous owners due to not being home enough. She was having to spend too many hours being crated or boarded at the vet, waiting for her owners to come home.

Sophie is an active, 11-yr-old girl. She requires a home with a fenced-in yard and an active owner who is willing to take time to play fetch with her and take her for short walks. She also likes cuddle time on the couch.

Sophie would be happiest in a home without young children and a stay at home or work from home owner. Sophie's Foster Dad says she makes a fabulous office dog!

Sophie would do well as an only dog, but gets along fine with other small dogs.

While Sophie does well going potty outside, her new family must be willing to continue working with her to master potty training. This will take time and patience, with praise and reward with lots of treats. Sophie loves treats!
