Well, hello there! My name is Merle. I'm a distinguished beagle mix in need of a home. I was rescued after being abandoned and I was barely moving back then. Now that I've been to the vet, had some love and good food...I'm feeling pretty great! I've been told I'm a senior gentleman at 12 years young, but I've found some pep in step since I've been rescued!

I am current on vaccination, negative for heartworms and neutered. I am learning how to do my business outside and walk on a leash now. I never learned those things before.

I am in a temporary foster home right now where I get along fabulously with the three other dogs and two cats! While I'm looking for a permanent home to spend my golden years, I could use a good foster home until then.

I know I'm a little older than the average fellow on here, but I'm pretty great. I bet you'll fall in love with my white snout and the way I scoot on the grass. All the ladies at my rescue giggle when I do it!
