My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penelope is a teeny 7lb dachshund mix. I have no clue what she is mixed with, but something scruffy. She is a year old, and one of the sweetest little dogs I have ever me. She LOVES the baby. In the picture of her laying with him, she went and laid down on her own. That wasn’t staged. She loves people of all ages and wants to be with you and cuddling. Penelope likes to play and is fantastic with other dogs. She is being fostered with both big and small dogs. She is predominately house trained but every now and then has an accident in the house because rain and dachshund. She is a very happy little girl and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Penelope has been chipped, vaccinated, spayed and is heartworm negative. She has been given her monthly flea/heartworm preventative. One by One Pet Rescue is a non profit 501c3. We require a house with a fenced yard, where she will be an inside dog and won’t be left alone all day during the work week.
