My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nano is a handsome yellow lab with a golden hue to his coat that makes him even more handsome. He was turned over to DLRR because his owner became ill and could not take care of him. He was loved by his family. We are told that he loves water and he loves carrying things around and a tennis ball. He was really grieving the loss of his family when he came into foster. Nano has emerged as a gentle strong guy. He absolutely loves to go for walks and could be quite active and then happy by your side. He gets along with other dogs and with the cat in foster home. His foster Mom is amazed at his enormous patience in waiting for her to put on complicated leashes even though he wants to go for that walk. He just understands. Nano is a health lab who is interested in everyone. He greets strangers gently but is focused on who is taking care of him. He does well out in the world. He is quite a gentleman. He listens carefully and learns quickly. He would thrive in a home that is predictable and where he could be with his people. He likes to be included above all. He learned the doggie door quickly and his way around. He gives a solid alarm bark when someone is there but there is no aggression at all. He is gentle through and through.
