Available for adoption 10/12/2018 - She is a young adult shepherd/spitz type mix. Approximately 2 years old and weighs just under 45 pounds. She has already been spayed and has a current Rabies Vaccine. She is mostly a golden color with black on her muzzle and ears. Her coat is of medium length and is soft and smooth. Her tail wants to curl and flip over her back. She has attentive chocolate brown eyes. She is a bit wary at first but quickly warms up when she finds you mean her no harm. She walks well on leash and does not pull. Volunteers have named her Haven. She would make a loving companion. *****URGENT*****This shelter is NOT a no-kill facility. If you are interested, please act quickly. We must have commitment before close of business on the first Wednesday after the availability date. ******If you are interested in this Pet, please call Polk County Animal Control at 770-749-8908 or email jcrawford@polkga.org ****Adoption fee for dogs is only $40. Dogs 2 years of age and under will be administered a Distemper/Parvo combo vaccine. This facility only accepts Checks or Money Orders. They do NOT accept Cash or Credit/Debit cards. You will sign a contract stating you will get your new pet spayed/neutered and a rabies vaccine by a specified date. **** Upon adoption, adopters are required to fill out a rabies and sterilization contract.****
