My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ferdinand and his sister Godiva were found in the woods behind our country home. He is approximately 7 weeks old based on the vet's observation. His mother was part of a large colony of cats that come to our home begging for food. She was emaciated so we chose to feed her. We soon realized that she had two kittens hiding in a tree stump. Sadly, we suspect the mother has since been killed by coyotes or other predators in the area. We found the kittens shivering and hungry and mom was nowhere to be found. After catching them both, we have taken them to the vet for first shots and treatment for illnesses common to kittens in the wild. Ferdinand had the hardest time as he had to be treated for a botfly, intestinal parasites, worms, and ear mites. He is a tough little kitten and is now healthy and very tame. He and his sister just need a forever home. We cannot keep them because we already have two rescues, one of which is very aggressive.
