My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Godiva is approximately 7 weeks old. She and her brother Ferdinand were rescued from a tree stump in the woods behind our country home. They were part of a colony of cats that live in the area. Her mother came to our attention by begging for food, and we couldn't refuse given her emaciated condition. It was a few days later that we realized she had two kittens. Sadly, mom has disappeared and is presumed to have been killed by one of the coyotes or other predators in the area. We rescued the kittens after a few days because they were hungry and cold, and mom was clearly not returning. Godiva had a few health issues that are common to kittens in the wild, and we have taken her to the vet for treatment. She is fully recovered and has become an extremely friendly kitten. She just needs a forever home. We cannot keep her because we already have two rescues, and one of them is an aggressive female.
