My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** ADOPTION PENDING **

Cynder is a beautiful little Lab-ette, with maybe just a little Pointer thrown in for good measure! Cynder is a very sweet, loving girl who is happiest when she can crawl up into your lap for a hug. We think she probably hasn't had a lot of love in her life, so we are making up for lost time!

We usually look for homes with fenced yards for our Labs. Well, we think that Cynder might actually do better in an apartment. Why? Because this silly girl can jump a 6' wood privacy fence without even taking a running start! The best part is that after she runs around and investigates whatever caught her attention on the outside, she jumps right back over the fence INTO the yard! Honest... we have seen her do it! She is just determined to catch the pesky birds that tempt her! A yard with an 8' fence will be safe for her, as well.

Cynder is just about 2 years old and weighs about 55 lbs. She is good with other dogs, but she would prefer to have ALL of the attention! Cynder is quiet and well behaved in the house. She would be a good fit for kids about 6 years old and up.

Cynder came to us well house trained. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is on heartworm prevention. She is a very good girl in her crate.

If you live in the DFW area and are interested in adopting Cynder, please fill out an adoption application on our web site at www.LoneStarLabRescue.org. Our adoption fee is $295.
