About
Meet Atlas 5667
When Atlas arrived at the Humane Society he was in pretty tough shape and definitely in need of lots of food and loving care. He would look up at you with eyes that were hesitant and uncertain. The HS volunteers quickly provided him with nourishment, medical assistance and kindness. In a few short weeks, he made a transformation from the proverbial "90-pound weakling" to a robust, healthy and trusting canine that befittingly was given the Charles Atlas moniker. He worked hard in his own "personal" gym, i.e. the bark park and took advantage of the training "pool" for hydro exercises. His eyes now speak of happiness, thankfulness and the joy of life. Humane Society volunteers have been thoroughly enjoying his expression of fun-filled life exuberance as they share time interacting together in the bark park.
