Angel was rescued from a shelter after being dumped by a breeder along with three other Maltese females. She is about 9 yrs of age according to her shelter records. She is a small girl, weighing just 5 ½ lbs. Angel spent her life in a breeding kennel (puppy mill) living in a confined space without socialization so she was fearful of people. Angel is a quiet girl in her foster home and now moves around her foster home with comfort and even wags her tail. Angel has learned to enjoy belly rubs by her foster mom. In the past week Angel goes on daily walks with her foster family and enjoys napping next to her foster mom, family dog, and family cat. Angel loves the family dog so she would be happy in a home with a dog. She also gets along with the family cat and children. Forming a bond with people was a new experience for Angel. Angel was recently spayed and had dental care with some of her teeth pulled due to lack of previous care. This little Maltese will thrive in a home with a calm atmosphere along with a person who has time to continue her training and socialization.
Angel deserves to live out the 2nd half of her life in a home filled with love and affection!
