Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CLYDE the pointer doggy is a fun, friendly boy. He is good with cats, kids and dogs. A dog of his breed is for a family that will take long walks and hikes and play with him. He is very smart and very loving. We rescued Clyde several months ago but he was Heartworm positive so we had to raise funds for treatment. He is now getting his treatment and as long as an approved applicant commits to giving him his monthly heartworm preventative and re-testing him in 6 months, we can adopt him out. He is still in his rest period from Heartworm treatment. After Dec. 31 of 2018 he can go back to normal activity and active play. If adopted before that date he can only go on controlled walks on leash and should rest at home. He is a very healthy boy and we do not want to keep him from adoption now that he is healing and ready for a forever home. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. Clyde is a beautiful purebred. We love him and any family will be very lucky to have him. He is fostered in Georgia but we will arrange transport to an approved adopter out of state for an additional fee. All of our dogs are to be indoor dogs and family members. We do not adopt out dogs to live outdoors.
