Remy is an adorable Plot Hound mix weighing 35 lbs. She is estimated to be between 9 months and a year old. Like so many pups in the south, her true story will never be known other than she was homeless and ended up in an over crowded southern shelter. Every day is an unknown for these babies due to a lack of space. Remy is one of the really fortunate though because she was pulled by a rescue group and placed in a loving foster home where her playful, loving, sweet personality and demeanor has shined. She is already crate trained and house trained with just an occasional accident which is normal when transitioning to a new environment and likely never having had any previous training. Foster mom says she is doing a really great job of learning though. Remy LOVES to chase tennis balls and run around outside. Playing with her people is even better. She is very good on leash and enjoys going out on her daily adventures. Remy has already learned how to sit pretty when asked and she is happy to show you. This loving little girl likes to be where her people are, not clingy but kind of like a shadow. She's still learning that she will never be abandoned again so she will cry a little when foster mom is out of sight and all smiles when she gets back. Just tell her you will be back when leaving then say you are back when you are. She gets it. Remy is great with other dogs and just as great with kids. She is curious about cats and wants to play with them but she is very gentle and respectful if they swat her away. She's just a great little gal who will need a little extra reassurance in the beginning. Remy is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. The only thing our precious girl needs in her life is a forever home with forever playmates who will truly make her a part of the family and as the song goes...you'll be jolly friends forever moor!
