These dogs are being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.

Meet one of our “fabulous five” puppies – Cody!
In mid-September, CRT received a call from a family in a north Dallas suburb. Their Chihuahua had recently had puppies and due to long work days, the family could not properly care for the puppies. They asked if we would take them in to our rescue and find great homes for them. These puppies are adorable and we are happy to help. There are 4 boys and one girl in the litter. Cody is one of these puppies!
Cody is just the cutest little mix breed puppy. He loves other small dogs in his foster home. Cody enjoys running, playing and tumbling for hours each day. He also has a special talent of jumping. When he gets excited he can jump straight up in the air! We think he might enjoy some agility training. Cody also loves toys of all kinds. We hope you have a big toy box at your home.
Cody also loves his family. After a day of playing, he is ready to settle in for some cuddle time. He enjoys getting belly rubs and giving you puppy kisses in return. He is full of life and love and will brighten your days and evenings.
Cody is primarily white with a black mask on his face. He has stocky little legs that are so cute. We love his floppy ears that perk up when he sees you. Cody is a Chihuahua mix. We have completed a DNA test on the puppies and will update the bios when we get results. All we can say is they are fluffy and adorable! Cody is about 6 pounds, and will probably add a few pounds as he matures. His birth date is August 24, 2018.
Cody and his siblings are completing their vet work the first week of December and be ready for their forever homes at that time. We are taking applications now. Because he loves to play, Cody needs to have another small dog in his forever home to play with. There is a cat in his foster home and so far he gets along with it well. He is curious with the cat, but does not chase it (so far – LOL). He does not bark much, even when the other dogs are barking. We believe he will do well in a home with older, mature children (10 and older).
