These dogs are being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.

Meet one of our "fabulous five" puppies - Tanner!
In mid-September, CRT received a call from a family in a north Dallas suburb. Their Chihuahua had recently had puppies and due to long work days, the family could not properly care for the puppies. They asked if we would take them in to our rescue and find great homes for them. These puppies are adorable and we are happy to help. There are 4 boys and one girl in the litter. Tanner is one of these puppies!
Tanner is just the cutest little mix breed puppy. He has lots of puppy energy. Tanner loves other small dogs in his foster home. He loves running and playing. His favorite thing to do is to do "zoomies" both inside and out in the yard. He also loves wrestling with the other small dogs in his foster home. Tanner also loves toys of all kinds. We hope you have a big toy box at your home.
Tanner has a sweet soul and loves his family. He is great with people. After a day of playing, he is ready to settle in for some cuddle time. He enjoys climbing on your lap to get quality love from all family members. He has never met a stranger and will greet you visitors with love as they come into your home.
Tanner has a cream / light tan coat with a tan mask on his face. We love his floppy ears and the way he tilts his head when he sees you. Tanner is a Chihuahua mix. We have completed a DNA test on the puppies and will update the bios when we get results. All we can say is they are fluffy and adorable! Tanner is the smallest of the five puppies. He is about 5 pounds, and will probably add a few pounds as he matures. His birth date is August 24, 2018.
Tanner and his siblings are completing their vet work the first week of December and be ready for their forever homes at that time. We are taking applications now. Because he loves to play, Tanner needs to have another small dog in his forever home to play with. There is a cat in his foster home and so far he gets along with it well. He is curious with the cat, but does not chase it (so far - LOL). He does not bark much, even when the other dogs are barking. We believe he will do well in a home with older, mature children (10 and older).
