My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Kaa! I am a young stripped ball python. SST Reptile Rescue received a call from another rescue about me. I was found wrapped around a propane tank trying to keep warm. No one is sure how I got there. So, SST took me in and gave me a warm terrarium to stay in.
When I came into the rescue, I was a little bit of a mess. I had retained shed and mites. With baths and treatment, I am now mite free and have regular sheds.
I do tolerate being handled but enjoy a good stretch. SST staff take me out every other day to stretch or bath time when I am in shed.
I have not taken a meal since being here at SST. The first rescue that took me in fed me a large meal before I was transferred to SST. So I maybe good for some time. But staff here do try to see if I will feed.
I have had my well check and the vet says I am in good health. With that, that gives me hope that I can find a new loving forever home.
