Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mr. Peanutbutter (about 4.5 months old as of 10/25/18) is a neutered male brown tabby shorthaired kitten. Mr. Peanutbutter was found wandering the streets of Round Lake when he was about 10 weeks old. He was feral but very very curious about people (especially people with food) and had warmed up to letting a nice man pet him after some bribes. A trap was set and Mister had a surprise for us; when the trap was sprung inside was him and his more feral sister who he'd convinced to come along with him. They were rushed to the vet where it was decided he was big enough to be fixed but because he was a little startled and hissy they opted to eartip him in case he needed to be released. Of course within a few days he totally loved people and is now a perfect housecat we wouldn't dream of releasing. He can still startle a little easily especially around unfamiliar people, but he loves attention and will squeak asking to be picked up at least a dozen times a day. He loves to be held, cuddled, kissed and fussed over. He also simply adores other cats! He NEEDS at least one cat buddy he can bash into (he could come on a little too strong to cats that would really prefer their personal space and frankly is a little slow on taking a hint when his affections are unwanted), cuddle with, and of course play with! Like any good kitten he has a fair amount of energy and needs a friend who can keep up with him. He hasn't lived with dogs but he is a fan of used dog toys and is just silly and simple enough that we think he would learn to love a cat friendly dog that would then let him bash and roll all over them in signature Mr. Peanutbutter fashion.
