My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kong is a handsome white with brindle spots, male neutered, Bull Mastiff, approximately 14 months old (as of 10/12). His owner surrendered him after trying for six months to find a home where the family could have Kong. Kong is sweet and gentle, but at 90 lbs and growing, Kong will need a family with a yard. It is also important that there be no small children because Kong is a little bit clumsy and gets carried away with his running. He is not mean or aggressive but will bark at dogs outside of fence. Kong loves getting sprayed with a water hose and getting bathed. He likes to put his harness on for walks and will do his best to be still for you as you get it adjusted... then... he is ready to GO! Cats are a mystery to him but he might just warm up to them and be buddies. He has been very good with other dogs, but most dogs see big ol' Kong and want to go on the offensive until they see that he just wants to be friends. Kong did manage to dig out of his foster family yard, please be sure you have a good strong fence that has no gaps, and is possibly even reinforced at the bottom. A good gate with a lock is also advisable. If you are interested in Kong plan to go to Thorndale to see him because at his size it is difficult to take him to the Petsmart adoption days.
