Hello all! My name is Pike and I am a one year old beagle/cattle dog mix. I am a super sweet little girl and such a lover! I spend the day in my foster dad's office while he works. I love hanging out on the couch in there and watching the world outside the window.
I can be just a big ol' ball of fun too! I love to run and play with the other dogs here. Actually Lilly, who is with Arizona Beagle Rescue, is also fostered here. She and I have really bonded. It would be neat if we could stay together. Wherever I go though, I really need another dog or two to keep me busy. My previous owner couldn't keep me because I kept jumping over the fence. She didn't want me to get hurt, but my foster parents think I did this because I was bored. I didn't have anyone there to play with me. I've never done it at this foster home. I just have too much to do here!
They tell me I am a very smart little girl. I can sit and will wait patiently for a treat, but I could learn a lot more too. My foster parents think I would be great at agility training. I am completely housetrained and know how to use a doggie door. I also sleep in my kennel with no problems. I have even gotten to where I will get in on my own for dinner. Oh! I ride really well in the car too. I just get comfortable in the backseat and ride happily along.
I sure hope you will give me a chance. You see my ear that sticks up? How could you resist that extreme amount of cuteness?
My adoption fee is only $100 which will be donated to the AZBR rescue group
