My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone...my name is Marley. I was given to DLRR after my parents divorced and each had to move in with other humans. I am a 5 year old big, beautiful, yellow 90 lb. male who loves to be loved and cuddled. I'm laid back, but occasionally will attempt to catch a ball. My foster parents can't get over how well behaved I am and how gentle I am for my size. I'm not the kind of dog who jumps up on people or surfs their counters looking for food. I get along well and share with my foster brother and sister...no jealousy on my part! I occasionally bark, but my foster mom says she loves my deep voice. When we all go on walks....got to admit I'm a little excited when we first start...then I walk nicely and don't pull them, unless I see a rabbit or rodent! I get very excited to ride in the car and like to sniff the outside air. I have used their doggy door in the back, I usually go out when they open sliding door though. Not sure if I like cats? But I do like kids....and I'm gentle with them. I barely chew on the dog toys, so I don't think I'd chew on children’s toys. My hair does go up when I'm first around other dogs....just showing off my beautiful coat...because I let them smell me and I smell them, no problems with my 2 foster siblings. The vet visit said I'm a little anemic and my albumin is low, so they put me on Doxycycline for a month in case I have an infection....a healthy dog food would help me too! I do have some separation anxiety....I cry when you leave and may need to be crated until I transition, but I've not had any problems when left to roam the house with my foster siblings. Hoping I can find a great new family that I can love!
