My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MONKEY, SWEET TABBY BOY LOST HIS HOME WHEN HIS OWNERS DIED.

Monkey was found as a stray 4 years ago, and then was adopted by an older couple, both who sadly passed away in the last six months.

His foster mom says he is very friendly, loving, playful, gets along with the other cats very well - he is a happy guy who wags his tail like a dog. He shows off and loves attention. His appetite is good and he has no problem with using the litter box.

Monkey is neutered and fully vetted, up to date on vaccines, and is a healthy boy who would love to find a forever home.

Please email us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com if you would like to adopt or foster this cat or any of our other kittens and cats.

You can e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption application or call our adoption coordinator, Robin, at 352-339-3352 for more information about our adoption process and our adoptable animals.

We have many cats and kittens available for adoption throughout the year. Our kittens are in foster homes during the week where they receive the love and attention they need to grow and thrive.

All of our cats and kittens have been leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas with advantage, spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive any other necessary treatment while in our program such as treatment for ear mites, respiratory infections, etc. Our adoption fee is $100 to help cover a portion of the medical and care costs. This includes spay/neuter, rabies, microchipping, FVRCP, flea prevention worming & tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV.
