Guess who’s ready, willing and able?!?!
“It’s me, Austin! Or Moose, as my foster family calls me, because of my stately proportioned features and majestic grace (or something like that). The doc with the yummy treats just said I am healed up and good as new.
Even better, if you ask me, because I didn’t have an 8” steel plate in my leg when I was new, so now I’m like a super-hero robo-dog! I served my rest time in a comfy crate but now I am ready to see the world and to find my forever family! Come meet me – I already love you!”
A note from Austin’s foster humans: Austin has overcome so much: being hit by a car, surrendered by his person, extensive surgery, bedrest to heal. But
through it all he has been the sweetest, most affectionate dog. He simply wants to be near his people and all can be set right in his world with an ear rub.
Austin walks well on a leash and has learned to live with dogs, kids, and cats. He’s super silly no matter what is going on, and he loves to play with toys. He’s a young guy with curiosity and energy, but he’s totally down for snuggling up to nap when playtime is done.
He has brought us many smiles and now he’s healthy and ready to share them with you.
