My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I‘m Flora, a sweet and very gentle girl. I am about eight years young! I have a beautiful soft coat, and you will like it too! I could just sit next to you all day and have you pet me! I am housebroken, crate trained, ride well in the car, and walk nicely on a leash! I am doing well with my canine foster sister and was fine with other dogs at the shelter. My foster sister and I hang out together and like going for walks together. We are separated for food. The shelter said I was good with cats, but we don't have any of those here at my foster home. I have met lots of new people and make friends right away.

I am super quiet and laid back, so would do very well in just about any type of house or even an apartment. I don't really need a fenced yard as long as you will take slow walks with me. I am a bit overweight now, so I may move a little faster when I slim down. I am not startled by noises and can pretty much sleep through anything, so apartment living would not be a problem for me. I am not quite up to doing lots of stairs right now because of my weight, but I have learned pretty quickly how to climb up the deck stairs here. We are taking lots of walks here so that I can slim down a bit.

I don't really do much running around or playing. I am more into hanging out with my people and quietly enjoying each other's company. I follow my foster mommy around and help with things around the house and rescue work!
