My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lyra is a beautiful dilute orange tabby female. Very quite, graceful young kitty. Best suited to a home with older children. Lyra is not shy, just likes an orderly home. But she is as friendly as she is sweet. I found Lyra in a friends chicken coop. I had seen a tom cat hunting mice in the barn and Lyra must have crawled thru a rat hole into the chicken coop and was found there that morning. I took her home and gave her a home until we could get her adopted.Lyra is spayed, chipped and completed all her vaccinations.

C.A.T. Rescue is not a shelter, we are foster based. We showcase our adoptable pets at adoption events most weekends at many locations such as PetSmart. Visit and like our Facebook page for event schedules or contact us at CatAlliesofTexas@gmail.com.

Cat Allies of Texas Rescues' mission is focused on cats of Comal county. Our vision is to keep cats out of shelters, place adoptable cats and kittens in a home, reduce stray and feral populations through TNR. Help colony caregivers manage and care for their cats. C.A.T. Rescue will offer, when possible, humane assistance to all animals in need.
