My story

Meet Lumi! (Formerly Jerry)
Lumi, which is Finnish for “Snow” is a young 1-2 year old male with gorgeous mixed eyes you can’t miss - one blue & one green! Lumi landed in the shelter after being found left abandoned in an apartment, and we pulled from the ACC shelter with just hours to spare before euthanasia. Lumi arrived to the rescue with an upper respiratory infection and gastrointestinal upset but is currently being treated for both and is well on his way to recovery.
Lumi is eager for affection and will head butt, meow, purr, and rub up against people soliciting petting - even strangers! We do feel that Lumi would do best in a home without young children as Lumi may get agitated when touched in ways he doesn’t approve (he doesn’t like his belly touched!)
Lumi is very friendly with the other cats in the rescue and would do fine in a home with another cat(s). He has not yet been observed around dogs. 
Lumi is fully up to date medically with both rabies and FVRCP vaccines, is microchipped, dewormed, FIV/Felv Negative, and is neutered.
