Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maddox (about 7 and a half months old as of 1/8/19) is a neutered male grey tabby shorthiared kitten. Maddox was found wandering as a lone older kitten in Waukegan. Thankfully he was young enough that in foster care he came around to liking people, but he'll always be more shy because of his late start. He slowly warms up with lots of petting and treats but can be very nervous around brand new people or unfamiliar places. He's a low-key kitty that doesn't make a lot of demands except maybe for some quick cuddles right before bed. He is a playful boy but not annoying to older kitties; he is good at entertaining himself but also wouldn't mind a young playmate to be goofy with. He has done okay with dogs but because of his nervous nature would probably adapt fastest in a home with no dogs or only one really calm older dog. He enjoys the company of older kids once he gets to know them but he'd have a hard time letting down his defenses to really get to know young hyper kids. ADOPTION PENDING
