Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My family and I are looking to re-home our beautiful pit Phoenix. We have had her since she was 9 months old and she is 4 years old now. Our family structure has changed many times over the past few years as we are foster/adoptive parents. She has not adjusted well to having young children in our home. She does well with older kids (teens preferably). We think her being in a home with just herself and no other animals or kids may be ideal. She has had issues with resource guarding as well. She has lived with our other dog for the duration of her stay here and she has lived with our cat as well and has done well with them overall. Our other dog is very submissive, and that is why her and Phoenix get along so well. We want her to have a great quality of life with a person/people who will love her unconditionally. She is trained and is overall a very good dog. She listens to commands and shows a lot of love, but she just doesn't do well with our young children and chaotic environments.
