My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Star is a 2 year old German Shepherd/Anatolian Shepherd mix with a sweet sunny personality and an infectious smile. She enjoys her people the most but also loves to play with other large dogs her size. She is a bit of jokester and likes to make her people laugh and smile by doing silly things like sliding down hills on her belly and bringing you a slipper just to show you she COULD have chewed it but didn’t. She is very well-behaved, and easy to train and very attentive to her person. She loves everyone she meets even children and wants nothing more than a good ear scratch or belly rub to make her day. Though only believed to be around 2 years old, Star is a pretty mellow girl. While she’ll never turn down a play session, she’s just as happy curled up at your feet for a good nap. She loves to jump into the sunshelf of her foster family’s pool for a quick dip and drink and off to play again so she likes the water. And when you have something she really wants, she’ll bring out her secret weapon, those big soulful eyes that melt anyone that looks into them. She is a complete love bug that loves to give hugs, kisses and curl up in your lap. She does very well on a leash and loves car rides. Star is potty and crate trained. She is being fostered with seven cats so she is learning not to chase, but due to her fascination and strong desire to chase when they move, a home without the temptation would probably be best. Her adoption fee is $200..
