Meet this handsome boy Butch. Butch is about 7 years old. He's a purebred Rottweiler who was rescued years ago from a hoarding situation. Sadly, Butch is down on his luck again. His owner needs to re-home him since there has been a change his family's living situation. It breaks his family's heart because Butch is such a good boy.
Butch is house trained, neutered and up to date with his vaccinations. He is in great health!! Butch's owner describes his as well behaved, obedient, and super sweet. He absolutely LOVES people! Because of his size, we recommend that Butch go to a family with children 8 years old and older. Butch loves to lay around, but he doesn't expect to get on furniture. He's a pretty low key guy. He has a low to medium activity level, He would love to have a fenced in back yard to hang out and roam around in.
Butch would do best as an only dog. He is not a fan of other dogs. He seems to become uncomfortable with other dogs and then he may overreact. He can be reactive while walking on a leash. Butch needs an owner who can handle his strength in the event he becomes reactive to another dog while walking on a leash.
