My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We do not adopt dogs from phone calls or emails. Please do not fill in adoption forms anywhere else, but on OUR website. Thanks for that.

To start our adoption process, please fill out our form on our website at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our web site and personality details below about each dog BELOW so please READ BEFORE getting in touch. We already answer 500+ emails a day. We do answer questions on dogs once our adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match to the right homes.

Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our adoption form. If their name says "pending home" then they are not available and are on a test drive with a new family. We do remove our dogs when our adoptions are final so please do not ask us if dogs are available if you see their ads.

There is an adoption fee of $250 for this dog.

Izzy came to rescue through no fault of her own. She is a 7 pound spayed mini female who just had her teeth done. She is also a senior at 12 years old and a very healthy and happy girl.

Because she is an Isabella piebald she has some genetic hair loss so she burrows a lot in blankets and should wear t-shirts in direct sunlight and a coat when cold, etc. Isabellas are a dilution of color bred together over generations or watered down chocolate and tans when breeding. Many of this color do experience alopecia or hair loss because of their genetics and breeding. But to help with that she is on a Science Diet food and that nice large bag of food will go with her of course as well as coats, sweaters and T-shirts, etc.

This gorgeous girl is sweet, charming, cuddly, sweet and kind. There is zero "wrong" with her. If you have a lap and a more quiet wiener retirement home than this might be your girl if you start our adoption process.
