My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! Our names are Freddy and Grady and we are a super sweet, very bonded pair of kitties approximately three years of age. Our former owner passed away leaving 63 cats including us behind:( Our rescuers were horrified to see the living conditions of the once beautiful house we were being kept in. Until they could find a better place for us to go, they had to put us all in crates in the basement of the home as the rest of the house was uninhabitable and a health hazard. We sadly spent 43 days in a crate with only a litter box, water bowl and canned food being fed once daily before Kitty Junction was asked to help with some of us.

I (Freddy) am a grey, black, and white male cat, about 11 lbs. My “brother” is Grady. You guessed it; he’s all gray – and a very handsome boy! Grady is bigger than me, he’s about 13 lbs, but he acts like a little baby sometimes. I’m definitely the brave brother. I’m also very curious, but respectful. I like affection but I’m not a big sap. Grady loves affection. Once he gets to know someone, he turns into a big sap! We are both very friendly, after we have to get to know you. Grady and I are both neutered and we have all our shots. We like other cats. And we are both comfortable with dogs, as long as they don’t hound us. Get it? HOUND us? We currently live with a foster family in Glenside and they have two dogs and we’re okay with them. If one of the dogs gets too curious with Grady, and Grady feels uncomfortable, then he’ll go sit in our cat tree and observe from afar. The foster family also has an older family cat. She doesn’t like us – in fact, she really doesn’t like anyone, but she lives here permanently (darn it). If she didn’t live here, our foster family would keep us. Everyone loves us! The mom, the dad, the grandkids. Because we’re so wonderful! And handsome! Did I mention we were handsome? We currently live on the bottom floor of the house and the old grumpy cat lives upstairs. It’s kind of cramping our style so Grady and I decided it was time to move out on our own. We are looking for a nice quiet home. If you’d like more information about us, Freddy and Grady, please contact Kitty Junction and ask our foster mom, Coleen, about her two handsome cats. Her cell is 267-474-6782 or coleen.saylor@icloud.com Looking forward to hearing from you!
