My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tiny and Tyson are playful teenagers looking for their forever home.

They enjoy toys, especially chase a ball and playing with their human with a wand toy, or even something as simple as a piece of rope. They just want to play as most kittens do! These boys are very bonded. They enjoy playing together, and are most comfortable and confident when they are together. Thus, we are requiring they be adopted together and there is a reduced adoption fee for pair adoptions. They both LOVE wet food, and dry food in a puzzle feeder (which they figured out almost immediately!). We believe they would do best in a home without kids or other animals. Their adoption will start as a trial adoption as they will likely take a couple of weeks to warm up, and we want to give you a chance to get to know these sweet boys!

Tyson's purr is loud and appreciative! He appreciates his people, and really loves petting, especially being rubbed on his head. He gets the funniest look on his face when he is really enjoying his face and head being petted, pulling his head backwards into his neck, closing his eyes, and purring contentedly.
Tiny is more adventurous and checks things out before his brother. He is the first to investigate new toys, and once he has verified things are okay, Tyson joins in. Tiny is highly motivated by treats! While both kitties like toys, Tiny really enjoys them. He will check them out and play with them all! He also will climb into your lap and nudge your hands for attention.

While you may think they both look identical, there are subtle differences you will notice with time. Their body language is completely different from each other! Sometimes when they are sitting still, we can't tell the difference, but then one will change how they are looking, or just move from one place to another, and we immediately know who it is!

They were born outdoors and spent time with a foster family. They have made such progress so quickly and we can only see them progressing even further as they get to know their forever family! When they go into a new home, it will take time for these cuties to adjust to a new environment, new people, new sounds, smells, etc. For the first few weeks, they will likely be afraid, but as each day passes, they will get to know you. They have already grown to trust their foster family as 'safe': when something is scary, they trust that their humans will take care of the problem. They need someone who is willing to take the time and work with them to continue showing them that humans can be good too. They love being petted but still struggle with being held. They show their affection by rubbing against the people they have grown to trust, and gently head butting human hands to be petted, and even climbing into their lap. Using interactive feeders and toys will help build this bond and challenge their minds in appropriate ways. They would do best in a fairly quiet home without too much commotion. Although afraid in new situations and with new people, as long as they have their secure place where they feel safe, they will gradually adjust and bond with you.

Tyson and Tiny have been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and are estimated to be 8-9 months old.
