My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for the purr-fect kitty companion for your existing cat, then look no further. Peri's greatest asset is his absolute love, interest and kindness with other cats. In the 30 years I've been doing rescue work, I have NEVER met a feline that is so cat friendly, loving and non-threatening with other cats!
He is a gorgeous cat with brown tabby swirls in his fur and vanilla fur on his paws.

Peri came to us from a high kill shelter so we don't know his background. He is very sweet once he gets to know a person, and even comes when called!!! With strangers he is a bit shy and will take some time to come forward. But once he knows you he loves to be pet. We feel that he was probably under-socialized as a young kitten, and probably wasn't handled enough. But his willingness to come when called give us a lot of hope, that if someone gently worked with him, he would certainly make progress in the "being held" area.

He is playful with the other cats and really needs to go to a home with another cat. In fact, we would love to see him go with his playmate here, little kitten named "Curly" (see Curly's profile)

We don't recommend him for a home with numerous or young children. We don't know how he reacts to dogs, but we suspect if the dog is calm, older and/or cat friendly he would be fine.

Peri has had all medical done (neuter, vaccinate, tested, de-flead, de-wormed and micro-chipped) His adoption fee is $100, $180 for the pair if adopted with Curly.
