Are you looking for a super sweet , very loving, and fun companion? Well that's Ely ! Ely is a 3-4 year old, smaller size lab that has had a pretty rough life so far, but things are looking up for this cute little guy. Ely is a very gentle soul, who does not jump on people and greets everyone with tail wags and a smile. . . he might even give you a kiss. He is a lover boy who absolutely LOVES hugs and kisses and cuddling and snuggling with you on the couch. He really enjoys going for daily walks and hopes his new family will continue to take him on two walks a day or maybe even a run. He LOVES toys and the louder the squeaker the better! He likes to play fetch too and will even bring the ball back to you. He also really enjoys going for car rides and he often falls asleep in the backseat.
He is a gentleman in the house and is house trained. He is also trustworthy when left alone inside. He is very smart and enjoys learning new commands. He knows sit, down, come, stay and leave it. . . he would love someone to teach him more. He takes treats gently and does not have any food or toy aggression.
His dream home is a very affectionate family, who loves to go for walks/runs, will spend a lot of time with him and shower him with love and toys. He will need a patient owner who will help him overcome his anxiety in social situations with other dogs. Ely would do best as the only dog and in a home without cats. Since he has not been tested with kids and loves toys, we are not recommending him for families with children. Ely is looking for a forever home and a family that will make him feel safe and loved....could you be the family to make his dream come true??
