My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dolly, she was a stray that was picked up by animal control and brought to the shelter. It looks like she was bred, neglected and dumped. In spite of that, she loves people. Dolly loves affection and pets. She met several neighbors and a toddler and was gentle and kind when meeting them all. She was not interested in treats. She just wanted love. The shelter had her in a foster home. She was fostered with two other dogs. She loved exploring the yard. She was indifferent to the dogs and did her own thing. She needs proper introductions to other dogs. She does not like other dogs running up and getting in her face. She likes a walk taking turns sniffing each other and building trust first. Dolly did chase the foster's cats. No cats for her in her forever home. She was curious about a chicken we saw in the park. Dolly is great in car. No sound from her on our long car ride. She does come to you wagging her tail asking for affection. Dolly is a sweet senior who wants a nice walk and love. She doesn't ask for much.
Would probably do best in a home without other dogs.
