My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey is a very sweet and loving sheltie/corgi/Aussie mix. I named her Honey because her eyes are a gorgeous amber color, and she is extremely sweet like honey.

She is the true definition of a Velcro dog! She is most happy when she is being petted and made over. And if you are not petting her, she thinks you should be and will literally creep onto your lap until you give her attention :)

When she came to me she was not house trained or leash trained. She’s doing great on her leash and only has about one accident every two weeks in the house.

She is quite energetic and deserves a big fenced in backyard to run in. She is still a bit skittish around loud and sudden noises And can be nervous around certain men until she warms up to them. However, she’s never met a woman who she didn’t immediately shower with kisses and offers of belly rubs!

She would be best in a home with older children, because smaller children who have sudden movements scares her and she runs to a hiding place.

She also would do well in a home that takes her places and exercises her often because of her energy level. She is friendly with other dogs, but is nosey and plays a little rougher than some dogs appreciate. She quickly stops playing when you tell her to however.

She does fine with my cats. Honey is literally the most affectionate dog I have ever met!

Honey is approximately 1.5 to 2 years old. She is ready for her forever. If you think she will fit in with your loving family, please ...
