My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well.?As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. ?Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding.?WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.?Adoption Process ?All of our dogs are in foster homes, so please fill out an application on our website to meet them in person: www.aberdeenstr.com. Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 recognized charity. Our volunteers dedicate all their free hours to finding the best loving home for each of our dogs.

Rose, female, corgi Jindo mix possibly, 18 lbs 2 years old, just spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm negative, dewormed.

Beautiful Rose, how she ended up yet again in the horrific situation of a death camp of a shelter in Korea is just maddening. This loving girl spent roughly 6 months in the shelter which the Korean rescue stopped her from being killed & losing her precious life. The Korean Rescue ended up finding her a home & a dad but after very short period of time her new dad contacted the rescue & said his work had become to busy & he could no longer keep this angel & had to return her so poor Rose again didn’t have a home & we were asked could we take her & help her & if course we said yes.

Beautiful Rose was rescued by the amazing Korean rescue & as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank you enough.

Rose was bought back to the USA & is now US citizen, where we quickly discovered this little lady loves to eat & loves a good treat, she is so very smart & fun & full of love.

Rose’s foster mum said she is oh so sweet & loving & cuddly & loves to eat.
She is such a bundle of joy & so fun & likes you to run around outside & chase her. She likes to sleep in bed with you & does love other dogs & their company. Her foster mum said she is a sensitive girl & loves to hug your leg & is just fun, fun fun.
Loud noises do startle Rose so we can only assume this is from the chaos of being in the shelter but the foster family have been working with Rose on this.
Also Rose really does enjoy a great outfit & just wants to be loved as she should be.

Rose has been around many breeds of dogs & she is currently fostered with foster siblings but her foster mum said she could go to a home with dogs or be the only dog as long as the people were home all day & would play with Rose.

Rose is roughly 18 lbs & 2 years old & maybe a corgie Jindo mix & she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative & dewormed 3 times & treated for giardia.

Rose has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around very small children but has done well around older children but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children.

We do not know for sure what breed Rose is mixed with & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is.

As with all of our rescues & Rose’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Rose potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.

We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying.

Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Rose & going through the process and have read his listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Rose who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this adorable little fellow.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately.

Rose has an adoption fee of $745 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
