ADOPTION PENDING
I’m a tough little cookie. Trust me. At 5 weeks old I was living under a house without a Mommy. Now, I could’ve let that get me down, but I decided I would be like Princess Leia and show the world how strong a girl can be.

My name is Emerson, I’m now 4 months old and I’m still proving that I can beat the odds every day. I have been in a foster home for a few months meeting new people and learning to trust. I told myself I should pretend to be Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. Just like her, I’ve been in an amazing place with new friends.

It’s time for me to find my forever home and I’m really trying to be brave like Katniss and come into my own. I’m back at the rescue and I’m doing really well playing, meeting new friends and getting lots of love from volunteers. I’ve learned that a scratch on the ear feels really good and if I give a little boop or kiss on the nose because I’m happy I make people happy too.

In case you are wondering, all of my first year vaccinations, microchip and spay are all included in my adoption donation.
