Do not ask to pop by to view a dog - it will be declined. Our dogs are in various locations in foster homes. Viewings are arranged with volunteers ,around rescue work, reg jobs and family and only offered to an approved app to ensure its a possible fit for the dog and applicant and to not waste anyone's time.

It can be completed, saved and emailed back to the rescue at
petrescue@hurontel.on.ca .
1. We require a fully filled app to be considered as a possible home
2. Only the approved app will be permitted a viewing with the pet ** in the foster home 3. ALL family members MUST meet the dog ** in the foster home** .
4. Any existing pets MUST attend the meet/ greet with the dog ** at the foster home ** .
5. A home visit must be completed as part of the adoption process after the initial viewing by a rescue representative.
This is not a replacement of the meet/ greet at the Foster home.
6. We do not adopt outside of ONTARIO .
7. We do not deliver dogs. If and once the adoption process is approved and complete the dog must be picked up at the foster home

WHY IS THIS DOG IN NEED??- This Pet has been surrendered to rescue to be re-homed through our screening / adoption process.
WHERE IS THIS DOG NOW ?- This pet is currently located in Cambridge area. He will be going into foster for further assessment and have his vetting needs done before adoption.

-fenced yard
-family with 6yrs + respectful children will be considered
-active family
-a dog buddy in the house would be nice for him for bonding ,play and company when no one is home.
-prepared to access training for bonding, basic training needs
Approx 6-7 months old
Benny sadly has had a few homes it seems at no fault of his home. He is an active pup and has found himself being in a new home ,but is now needing another new home where someone can meet his puppy needs and his training needs.His family has asked him to be taken in by our rescue. We are happy to help this sweet boy.
Breed we are told to be a possible Dalmatian /spaniel/ beagle x.
He is medium size but a slim build.Short coat.
He has met by a volunteer to assess with a tester dog and was awesome, actually a bit on the shy side but then sniff and was relaxed, walking around.
Lives with a cat that he loves to chase- as any puppy will do to play, but not aggressively. Will need training around this .
Lives with a younger child and loves kids, but due to jumping up at times would be best with older children so as to not knock any over in his excitement. We'd consider children 6yrs and up.
He loves to cuddle.
He is food motivated- takes treats well, but in a excited, fast manner, but if given time he will sit patiently and wait to be given.
He was quiet and happy when meeting a stranger, quick to give gentle sniffs and kisses , no barking at meeting a stranger at the door.
He is crated - but does not like it and will cry.- likely due to all the many changes in his young life. He needs work on a house training routine.
This sweet boy has a clean slate and will need someone to invest the time and training as any puppy will need. He has the build that when he has finished growing and is conditioned... he could be a great jogging/ hiking buddy :)
He'd do best in a home with a fenced yard for safe play, an existing dog in the home for company and not be stressed due to more changes, an active family to meet his energy needs , older children who would love someone to cuddle and play with .
He is an incredible pup with so much love to give !!
