Bonta is a gentle senior who found himself dumped in a shelter at 13 years old. He adjusted to his foster home well, and has had no potty accidents in the house. Bonta gets very excited and will jump around when his foster dad comes home from work, wanting to go outside together. Because Bonta can't hear very well, his foster dad makes sure he can see and smell him when he approaches.
Bonta likes to snuggle on his own terms, usually on the floor or in his bed. If you’ve followed Bonta’s rescue journey, you know he loves getting pets! He goes crazy for back rubs while in bed or lying on his side. His hind quarters were missing fur in the beginning but filling in nicely, all the better for pets!
While it takes a little time to develop trust with being picked up, Bonta does fine with body handling, and his fosters will sometimes assist him up a few steps when coming indoors from the yard. In addition to pets, Bonta also enjoys his raw meals!
