Shaggy will do best in a home with a fenced in yard where he can run and play safely. He cannot live in an apartment because he can be vocal at times. He gets along with other dogs if they are active. Shaggy has a lot of energy and will do best in an active home where he can get a lot of attention.
This matted fella was pulled from our local shelter. He's about 5 years old, neutered, heartworm negative (thank goodness), has a microchip. Owners were notified but never claimed him after 11 days. Just sad.
Well he got a spa day today at Pearly Pets. His butt was matted up with poo. Poor guy. When people get these pets that need grooming then they need to have them groomed. Amen.
He is neutered, microchipped and current on all his vaccines and preventatives. He's house trained and but does well in a kennel too. Remember when adopting a dog you need to give them time to adjust to their new surroundings.
Shaggy's adoption fee is $150.
Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home.
Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention.
For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verification.
