Callie will need a home that has the patience to work with her so she will gain confidence and bond with her caretaker. Once she trusts you she's all in to her person. Such a gentle soul that just wants to be loved and feel safe with you. Must have a safe and secure fenced in yard. No apartments. Callie is about 3 years old, spayed, a big girl 65-75 pounds, current on all her vaccines, microchipped, wormed for all parasites. Callie has been in her foster home since 4/15/21.
Momma Callie was a stray, living under an abandoned house in South Memphis trying to care for her litter of pups.
She’s very shy meeting any new folks and takes time for her to warm up to new folks. Her whole world changed after she was rescued. Now she enjoys being inside a home and doesn't mind being kenneled. It is a safe place for her. She enjoys her meals and actually lays down to eat most of the time.
She does well around other dogs and is okay with cats as well. She would do best in a home with another dog.
Her adoption fee is $150

Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention.
For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verification.

Save1Pet, Inc., formed in 2004 in Olive Branch MS, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit and is a support organization to assist the local animal shelters with increasing adoptions and public awareness regarding the responsibilities of caring for domestic animals.
