My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grover wins over the hearts of everyone he meets! He is a Spaniel mix just 11 months old and weighing around 26 pounds. He has a medium energy level and enjoys playtime with the other dogs he meets. He likes to chase cats but really just wants to play with them. Grover has this most endearing quality we learned from his foster mom…he loves to collect shoes and just wants to hoard them and not chew on them! When this poor guy was rescued it was obvious he had had surgery to repair a broken leg. Unfortunately, the pin that was put in place was longer than needed and protruded from his paw and resulted in a bone infection. Consequently, it was necessary to remove his leg but Grover is not handicapped at all by the loss. Grover loves his humans and is always ready to hop in the car for a ride. Rescued by our sister organization in Mexico, Grover has been neutered, dewormed and vaccinated and is now ready for his forever home.
