My story

Oreo was found as a stray wondering the streets of Lafayette, La. She was injured and limping. We picked her up and brought her straight to the vet. She had an infected wound on her food and unfortunately heartworm positive. Since then her foot has fully healed, she is up to date on shots, and currently on heart worm preventative. She’s approximately 3-4 years old per the vet.

She’s a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She’s VERY gentle and sweet. She has been around kids of all ages, dogs and cats and does wonderful. If she’s around horses she WILL try and heard them and nip at their ankles. I guess it’s in her DNA.

She is housebroken and does well on a leash. She is not spayed yet but we are willing to do that ASAP. She would be a wonderful family dog or a single person dog. She just wants to love and cuddle.
