My story

Hi I’m Petunia and my rescue story is well...id say a good one since these people saved my life when I was on death row. Somehow I managed up at the shelter and boy that place is awfully scary. I was so sad and my body ached, I guess that tends to happen when you’re a bit older and have seen some rough days. I’ve been told I’m not a Pomeranian but these nice people who I’m calling my rescue family say they couldn’t let me die there, that my sweet face was worth saving...so that’s where my rescue story starts. I remember their slow, kind hands opening the cage door to my pen,I was dog A282965. I couldn’t barely get up off the cold concrete floor. My body hurt, I was cold, scared and alone. I heard her say “come on sweet girl let’s get out of here. It’s ok we’re here to save you!” I slowly got to my feet and the doors opened to the outside. I remember stepping onto the grass, feeling the sun on my face...I was FREE! I gave so many kisses that day and still do. I have been given the best vet care and survived cancer. Most days you’ll either catch a smile or a big kiss...perhaps both! I love all humans and am looking for a quieter home where maybe we can watch Netflix, read a book, sit out in the sun letting the wind blow through our hair. I’m not sure how many years will be together but I promise I’ll be your bestest friend til the end! Please adopt me! Xoxo Petunia xoxo (I have a name now not just a number!)
