My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mr Personality best describes our adorable Cobe. An 9 1/2 years old, 17 pounds, Shih Tzu boy, nothing keeps Cobe from loving life.

Cobe was surrendered to us with one
non-visual eye ( ? old injury or neglect), and one eye recent blinded by a rapid onset cataract. It was no surprise to find out Cobe has diabetes; what a shame his prior owners didn’t detect and treat him for this. He takes insulin twice daily with no problems and is doing extremely well. Potentially, he could be given sight by cataract surgery.

Cobe is a very happy, well adjusted, very affectionate little guy. He loves other dogs and all people, as well as going for walks, getting belly rubs, and just sitting on your lap or being held. His love of life is contagious and endearing... all he wants is someone special to share it with. Could that special someone be you?

We have an adoption contract that must be completed and approved. We require vet and personal references as well home checks. Our normal response time is approximately 7 to 10 working days. Our Adoption Committee works very hard to place our dogs in environments where they will be most likely to succeed. Please understand that we have more applications than we do dogs and that if you do not hear from us within that timeframe, we currently do not have a dog who we feel would match your needs.

Our fee includes neuter or spay, all shots, and snap test for heartworm/erlichia/lyme. We take care of whatever their medical needs might be before they are adopted.

WE DO NOT SHIP OR ADOPT OUT OF THE SOUTH FLORIDA AREA.
