THIS DOG IS NOT CURRENTLY THE SHELTER BUT IN A FOSTER HOME:
Duke is looking for a home! Duke is an approx. 3 year old male Jack Russell Terrier mix who is currently in a foster home and up for adoption! He has been neutered & vaccinated. He is crate trained, loves to play fetch, and partial to women. He has proven to be dog selective, so a home where he is the only dog is probably best, though he has done better with a couple of smaller female dogs. Duke is smart and devoted once you earn his trust, but because of some past trauma, he can be a little suspicious of new people, especially men until he is comfortable. Due to this, small children are not recommended. Like most terriers, he is active and alert. He will make sure you know when someone is at your door. He'd make a perfect companion for someone who likes solitary walks with their dog, playing some fetch and then chilling in front of the TV with a lap dog. If you are interested in Duke, please message our page for more info and/or an adoption application. We are asking a $50 adoption fee to recover some of the costs of his vet care.
